Capybara Add-On

Overview

Capybara Add-On adds Capybara creatures alongside custom costumes and utilities. Players tame capybaras using apples, carrots, potatoes, wheat, melon slices, or sugar cane. The Capybara has 16 health. The Capybara Guide has 20 health.

Essential Equipment

Assembling Capybara Fur requires three Brown Wool and one Leather. Crafting the CapyCodex requires three Iron Nuggets, one Capybara Fur, and one Redstone Dust. Interacting with the CapyCodex displays details about tamed companions and provides settings to manage them. Sitting tamed companions will rest during nighttime hours when sleeping is enabled. Crafting the Capybara Guide requires one Book and one Capybara Fur.

Custom Outfits and Perks

Equipping the Astronaut Suit grants low gravity that allows jumping high into the air. Wearing the Backpack enables carrying extra items inside the companion inventory. The Business Suit reduces incoming damage while maintaining an elegant appearance. Defeating hostile monsters while wearing the Chef Costume converts them into tasty food.

The Dragon Onesie unleashes fiery breath to ignite nearby hostile creatures. Donning the Ghost Costume frightens creepers away and inflicts Weakness and Slowness on surrounding monsters. The Knight Costume increases overall attack strike damage in combat. Striking targets while wearing the Mooshroom Costume inflicts poison upon enemies.

The Pirate Costume periodically excavates random treasure items from the ground. Wearing the Royal Costume bestows Regeneration and Strength upon nearby players and companions whenever foes draw close. The Tutu Costume restores companion health automatically over time. The Viking Helmet provides an opportunity to deliver double strike damage. The Wings perk grants airborne flight while riding by steering upward or downward. The Wizard Costume casts unpredictable magical spells against nearby hostile monsters.

Treats and Attire

Crafting Candy requires eight Sugar and one Sweet Berries. Crafting Super Candy requires eight Sugar and one Diamond. Players can craft the Brown Capybara Shirt from Capybara Fur. Dyeing the Brown Capybara Shirt with White Dye produces the White Capybara Shirt. Dyeing the Brown Capybara Shirt with Pink Dye produces the Pink Capybara Shirt. Dyeing the Brown Capybara Shirt with Yellow Dye produces the Yellow Capybara Shirt.
